What Part B covers
- Doctor and specialist visits
- Outpatient care and surgery
- Preventive screenings and vaccines
- Lab tests and imaging
- Durable medical equipment like walkers and oxygen
What it costs
Part B has a monthly premium (higher for some income levels), an annual deductible, and typically 20% coinsurance with no out-of-pocket maximum under Original Medicare.
Avoid the late penalty
If you don't sign up when first eligible and don't have other qualifying coverage, you may pay a penalty for as long as you have Part B. We'll help you time it right.
